In the evening, when the sun is already low, they bring their animals to the Nile to water, all of which exudes a special sense of tranquility. You've probably also wondered what it looks like there on the banks, beyond the palm trees and sugar cane fields—and that's exactly what we want to show you.
On the way from Luxor to Aswan, the classic cruise route, halfway along the Nile lies the city of Edfu, famous for its famous, 2,000-year-old temple dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus.
